A fanciful horror-tinged New Wave rock opera transpires when a pair of bewitching mermaids emerge from the sea to join a Warsaw nightclub act, then face some cruel, bloody choices when one of them falls in love with a handsome young bass player.

When two beautiful mermaid sisters decide to swim to shore and experience life on land, they're swept up in the glitzy, candy-colored madness of a sleazy Warsaw nightclub, where they quickly become the main attraction. Golden (Michalina Olszanska) and Silver (Marta Mazurek) not only have hypnotizing voices, but are also able to transform into human form if they keep out of water long enough. The sisters quickly realize the advantages and consequences of inhabiting an attractive female body in the modern world when Golden starts using her sexual prowess to feed on predatory men and Silver falls in love with the sandy-haired bassist of the club's family band (Jakub Gierszal), putting her at risk of a Little Mermaid-esque situation: losing her voice and tail forever.
